What does a lesson look like?

  • What will you bring?

    Bring a towel, swimwear and dry clothes. We have wetsuits available, so you can wear them depending on the weather conditions.

  • Preparation

    You report to the agreed location fifteen minutes in advance. We provide a wetsuit that keeps you warm and protected. We will explain the ins and outs of eFoiling to you in 10 minutes.

  • On the water

    After the explanation, we will immediately go on the water. With the instructions from our instructors, we will ensure you have an unforgettable experience!

  • Outcome

    Afterwards, you have the option to change clothes on site. If you wish, you can relax in our beach chairs and watch the next class, if any.

Frequently asked questions

Is experience required to learn eFoiling?

No, experience is not required. Our eFoil school offers lessons for beginners to advanced riders. Our experienced instructors will guide you and teach you the basics of eFoiling, regardless of your experience level. Everyone is up and riding after the first hour!

What are the requirements to participate in eFoil lessons?

To participate in our eFoil lessons, you must be at least 16 years old and have reasonable swimming skills. For those under 16, there is an option to participate in the lesson in consultation with the respective parent/guardian. Additionally, good physical condition is recommended, but you don't have to be an athlete to learn efoiling.

How long does an eFoil lesson last?

A standard eFoil lesson lasts 45 minutes to an hour. This includes the explanation, and riding to and from the lake (on your eFoil). Therefore, we ask our eFoilers to arrive on time (fifteen minutes before the lesson starts), so you can fully enjoy your lesson. The time for group lessons will be arranged in consultation.

How accessible is it?

You can reach us by car. Parking is paid (€2 per hour) with a maximum of €5.50 per day.

We are also easily accessible by public transport. From Hoorn station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the city beach.
You can also take the city bus towards the city center (stop Park Schouwburg) and get off there.
