During the lesson, an experienced instructor will take you out on the water and teach you step by step how to foil in a controlled manner.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a lesson cost?

The cost of an eFoil lesson depends on the number of participants and the type of lesson you choose.

A private eFoiling lesson costs €150 per hour. You will receive full guidance and maximum time on your own board.

For groups of 2 to 5 people, each participant gets their own eFoil board for approximately 45 minutes. The price ranges from €70 to €90 per person, depending on the group size.

For groups larger than 5 people, shared boards are used, and prices are available upon request. The final price depends on factors such as the number of participants and the desired duration of the activity.

For larger groups, it is also possible to combine eFoiling with other activities. Please refer to our group eFoiling offer for more information.

Where can I go eFoiling?

Flying Fish has established schools in Amsterdam, Loosdrecht, Hoorn and Heeg. In addition, it is also possible for us to teach on location, in consultation. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

What does an eFoil lesson look like?

The eFoil lesson consists of four parts: reception and changing, instruction on shore, lesson on the water, and closing. During the instruction on shore, you will be taught how to safely ride on the water, how the equipment works, and what the steps are to learn how to eFoil. The real learning happens on the water itself, as practice makes perfect. Here, an instructor will pay close attention and provide useful tips and advice.

Is e-foiling difficult?

No, efoiling is not difficult. Our eFoil school offers lessons for beginners to advanced riders. Our experienced instructors will guide you and teach you the basics of efoiling, regardless of your experience level. Everyone is up and riding after the first hour!
